Being too busy to really think about any of these things right now, I'm putting them out to remember, and for others to discuss.You may have noticed that your cat, unlike you and your dog, does not have a sweet tooth. It turn out that this is because cats have non-functional sweetness receptors. No wonder they're cranky.
Extract of pineapple stems seem to hold promise for a completely novel set of cancer drugs. I think that's pretty cool.
Injections of intestinal hormone oxyntomodulin seem to aid weight loss and appetite suppression. Might work even better if subjects stopped watching so much TV.
