Reality Skipping

Ever get stuck in one of those meetings that, despite no one having anything to say, just. Won't. Ever. End. ? Yeah, me too. Wouldn't it be nice if you could just skip them - or better yet, send a robot replica of yourself who could just sit there silently (as you are expected to do) and nod occasionally (as you are expected to do) and not drool on your pillownotepad (as you are sometimes chastised for doing)?
There may be a solution!! Just blink a lot. I'm not kidding - it appears that when we blink, our perception of the universe 'switches off' for a moment, allowing us to perceive an uninterrupted stream of life. If you can blink constantly for that entire three-plus-hour meeting, you won't even perceive how awful it was.
